Concrete Tube Plastic, Size 2, 45 mm diameter for Rotary Topspinner and Lift-O-Matic - Black is rated out of 5 by 47.Rated 4 out of 5 by Alan Walker from Concrete fixing tube I purchased a topspinner rotary drier but had to buy a garden spike as it was in the deal and no doubt the price increased because of this fact I had to purchase the concrete fixing but I feel customers should have the choice of fixings when the drier was bought. The fact that the drier and the garden spike were together then having to purchase the concrete made the whole experience very expensive a point that I am sure future customers might steer away from purchasing the drier.Date published: 2015-04-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Bromley Kent from Excellent product and necessary for installation I looked at the Brabantia site before I bought my latest rotary airer. I would only buy Brabantia airers as they are the best quality available. I realized that I had only used the spike with my last installation and therefore bought this concrete tube in plastic . I have asked my usual retailers to stock this item as many people are not aware of it and it makes the installation far more reliable and sturdy. If you are installing the airer in grass then the spike is adequate but a plastic tube is essential for inserting in concrete. in my opinion.Date published: 2016-04-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Ward from Concrete tube Does exactly what it's meant to do, maybe add a plastic spike to the base to enable easier installation by one person. Personally I think this should be provided with the washing line instead of the one you hammer in.Date published: 2014-01-10Rated 4 out of 5 by Agent007 from Does the job We had to buy this after buying a replacement for a very old Brabantia rotary dryer elsewhere. The metal tube that came with it would not go into our lawn so we had to order this direct and wait for it to arrive, dig the hole, buy the concrete, following instructions and wait 3 days for it to set. It's great. It works but what a palaver! Why doesn't the dryer come with this? (Or at least detail of the product number to order)Date published: 2014-08-05Rated 4 out of 5 by Glasscheek from Fits Brabantia rotary lines perfectly The 'tube' fits the airer perfectly and the cap is simple and effective, the tube its self needs to be longer to be set into the cement especially if it's going into a lawn, so as to allow for top soil and grass to regrow, I learnt this the hard way and had to redo it!!! I cut a length of scaffold about 8" and set the tube into that (fits perfectly) now very solid and grass grows around the tube!!!Date published: 2015-10-16Rated 4 out of 5 by ChrisT65 from A good product but... This rotary clothes drier is well made, well designed and works well. However, the cover supplied in the package was damaged (now replaced) and we had to buy separately, at extra cost, an anchor for concreting the drier into the hole in the patio made for our previous drier. Also, the anchor is enormous compared with the previous patio sleeve, which now means we have to employ someone to do the job - at yet more cost. And we still haven't found anyone prepared to do the work...Date published: 2015-05-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Jonathan900 from Does the job The unit has been set in concrete and is fine. Has a hinged lid that cannot get lost, a good thing. To set in in the ground I bought a bag of post fixing cement, around £5. This unit is a lot slimmer than a wooden post post so don't make the hole too big, there won't be enough concrete to fill it. Suggest about 6" square.Date published: 2014-09-28Rated 5 out of 5 by alanp from Excellent Brabantia product I ordered the Brabantia concrete tube for our Topspinner and it arrived in Cyprus well within a week. It's very strong and well made and the instructions for positioning it properly are easy to follow and helpful. The ground spike (concreting in is not necessary for that item) which had been supplied with the Topspinner was easy to place but now we'll have two places to position our clothes dryer.Date published: 2016-02-02
