Replacement Line, 65 metres, with 16 connectors is rated out of 5 by 70.Rated 5 out of 5 by ChrissyA from Perfect! I have had my Brabantia rotary washing line for about 15 years and had been thinking about a replacement as the line had broken in a couple of places recently. When I found this web site and checked the reviews I decided to give the replacement line a go - a much cheaper option. As other reviewers have already mentioned the process is quite fiddly, but stick with it and follow the step by step instructions carefully and you will be rewarded with a perfect line. I am very pleased with this product. Thank you for extending the life of my very efficient, well used, rotary washing line.Date published: 2016-08-24Rated 4 out of 5 by VivH from Not the easiest job! I did manage in the end to complete the fitting of this replacement line but it took me about 3 hours!! the small black clips at the end of every length are so difficult to thread the line through the tiny holes, they have to go through at an angle!?. They need to open up with a hinge rather than trying to push the line through. (the old line became sticky? I guess because it was about 8 years old) a word of advice cut on length at a time or you will end up threading the wrong one through and having to undo it again.Date published: 2014-05-31Rated 5 out of 5 by LuxNomad from Like new again! The old line had corroded and gone sticky after 10 years use but the frame is in perfect working order. This replacement line was the perfect solution. Good instructions and super quick and easy to string. The time consuming bit was getting the correct tension on each line. Tip: Leave good slack on each line when stringing and work your way from inside out when tightening. Takes time to get it right but so satisfying once done and a complete bargain if compared to buying a new one if it gives me another 10 years use!Date published: 2016-08-18Rated 5 out of 5 by Paul8 from A new lease of life! We have just moved into a new home and the last owners left a Brabantia Rotary Line. The line had seen better days and was kept together with lots of joining it was very saggy!!! So I purchased the new line from Brabantia and I am pleased to say it was put together with the minimum of effort and by using the connectors tightening the line in future will be a very simple operation.Date published: 2014-05-01Rated 5 out of 5 by r1rocket from Quality product which saves you money! After reading online experiences of how to re-line a rotary airer, I was a little dubious about starting, but having already removed the old line there was only one direction to go! I started at the outside of the airer to allow me to position the four arms correctly with the line tension (you really need a helper for this), but once the arms were all connected, it was simply a case of following a pattern to thread each of the arms on each rotation of the airer. The Brabantia line is excellent quality and has renovated the airer to look good as new. The line is very generous, and even with a large airer like mine, I had metres of line spare after I had finished. Following a few weeks of use now, the line has remained taut and there is no evidence of stretching or sagging. I would recommend this product for anyone requiring a replacement lineDate published: 2015-10-26Rated 4 out of 5 by launderette from Good This is my review of this good product. It definitely is good.Date published: 2014-08-25Rated 5 out of 5 by jumper2 from Easy to fit. I chose this item in order to refurbish a very old rotary line (40 years) and it served the purpose exactly with enough left over for a second go if need be. The bits and pieces that came with the replacement line I have kept, "just in case" but I know which product I would choose should the need arrise.Date published: 2016-06-29Rated 5 out of 5 by Junket from replacement Bought to rewire existing rotary washing line, not a Brabantia. It had very good instructions, but we adapted to fit. The quality of the line itself is very good and we used the locking pieces that were enclosed to tighten the line. Over the last couple of weeks, we have tweaked the tension.Date published: 2015-10-18
