Rotary Lift-O-Matic, 50 metre with Metal Ground Spike, 45mm diameter and Cover - Metallic Grey is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 74.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is the best rotary dryer I have come across. I have bought cheaper versions in the past, and I am glad I went for one that was a little bit more expensive, but worth it. It slides up and down so easily, not having to hold arms out and getting tangled. The height can vary, if you are a smaller person. It folds up and ties so easily, the ease with which you can slide it up and select the height you want is fantastic. The cover that keeps it clean and dry is perfect. Opens where you can put it easily around the top, and a zip up from top to bottom. Perfect, and easy. Used to have to stand on a chair and try and get the cover over the top with great difficulty. Wonderful purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good quality product. Does what it says on the tin. Delivery was prompt. Installation of spike was easy (but it had been raining so the ground was soft and we did have a mallet and a spare plank of wood handy). It is awkward to open (have to stand in a certain spot to avoid being garotted by the lines) but that is the same with all rotary driers due to the nature of the design. The height suits my height of 165 cm. The cover is easy to get on and off and the pole is easy to remove when not in use. Did my research and, including delivery, got it for the best price directly from Brabantia. Haven't had it for long but I am confident that I have got a good quality product at a good price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy! Only got this yesterday. Got it home and straight into use, love it already. It took longer to get my old rotary out of the ground, (only had a spike, no concrete), than install this. Love the fact that I have to reach up to hang the washing out now. My old one was under my chin, and I'm 5' 2", so not good! Love the ability to raise and lower the working height too, so larger items won't be trailing on the floor. Only down side, after reading the description on this site, I was expecting a cover. There wasn't one in with it from the retailer I got it from!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality drier Just put up this rotary drier with my husband doing most of the work! I am very pleased with it and now have washing hanging on it. We used the metal spike that came with it and did find it very hard to bang it in the ground using a mallet (my hands are a bit numb) still one broken plank of wood later it's in. One would only assume that our ground is very hard and more likely to withstand the rigours of time. We are going to try the spike first and if needs be purchase a plastic one to set in concrete if there are any problems (I hope not). I chose Brabantia because I new it was a good product. I have been married 45 years and I am still using a Wedding gift of a Brabantia Ironing board just changing the covers now and again. Good to see that the quality is still there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality and tested well with a heavy load Received this item and the first error was the pole diameter was wider than our last one, my error so a new fitting. I would ignore the "no cement required" comment. Experience shows that these things will start leaning as the ground gets damp or dries out. Post cement is ideal and you just add water, job done. Line tensions and structure seem to be robust and solid and we had a heavy drying load one day, and not a creak to be heard so hopefully another 8 years of service ahead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality airer, for short people! We've had this lift-o-matic a few weeks and by and large, it is working well. I'm nearly 6ft (1,8m) tall and still have to stoop significantly to use it. At 5ft2in though, the main user is perfectly happy with it, even though she puts it up to the maximum height. It is easy to put up and down and seems well made, but the cover seems a bit flimsy. Shame it had to come with the lawn spike, would be better to offer a choice between that and the concrete tube, which we bought separately and is plastic, so shouldn't rust to the airer. Suppose I could ebay the spike!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good product I bought this for my daughter and son-in-law who have two young boys - toddler and a baby - so washing is constant. It is a good sturdy rotary line which will last may years. They are very pleased with it. One slight observation though; the metal spike was difficult to get into the ground. If it had been threaded and a metal rod provided to screw it into the ground, it could have been easier? Overall very satisfied

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rotary washing line not high enough I bought the Lift O Matic rotary washing line recently and am very disappointed. The pictures of it online show women stretching up to hang washing on this line which is clearly above their heads. The pictures did not say these women must have been about 4ft 6,,,, The line is so low that I always get the lines entangled with my head, even with it at its full height. Duvet covers have to be looped several times to prevent them dragging on the ground. It needs to be a good foot higher to be any use to me, at 5ft 8.
