Trees for a better world
In the Ethiopian Amhara region we even have ‘our own’ Love Nature Nursery. The nursery has the potential to produce up to 300,000 seedlings every year. They will help restore degraded lands to healthy productive forests. Or as Mulenesh Nigussie, a young girl from Amhara, Ethiopia explains: “Trees are important to regulate climate change and when we plant trees we will have good rain to produce enough food to feed us.”
In 6 years, we have planted over 2.2 million trees that help cool the planet and provide work for people in the Ethiopian East-Goijam province.
