Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I have had mine a year or so and absolutely love it. Here in The part of NC USA where I live we have fairly mild weather. I am 68 and grew up hanging clothes on the clothesline. The fragrance of sunshine-dried clothes cannot be matched; and takes me back to my childhood when life was simpler and carefree. The added bonus is that the air and sunshine are still free so I save on electrical bill by not running dryer very often. I heartily recommend the Brabantia brand and will look to make other purchases as I replace household goods. 5 stars in every category.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy and well constructed 40M Topspinner dryer I have just installed the 40M 4 arm Top-spinner Dryer using the heavy duty, very stout ground spike included. First impressions are that it is a very solid and well built product. The spike is similarly so, though many will find it difficult to drive into their lawn. This task is very much easier in wet winter ground and of course a fairly large hammer and old piece of fence post to protect the top are essential aids. One disappointing feature however is that Brabantia's claim to easily spin is rather a hollow claim. The design is such that the arms rotate against the green catch upon which the dryer rests when raised up and clicks into position. Even without loading with washing, the friction is such that the whole post rotates in the ground socket! The rotating feature it seem is more down to accident than design!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't spin as well as I thought it would This doesn't spin all that well and the line tension could be better and so am a bit dissappointed as the line wasn't cheap. I am sure it is possible to push the line up higher but it is much too difficult to do so I will have to make do with line that is a bit loose!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very high quality We bought this a month ago, and have wondered why we did not earlier! It is our first Spinner, as opposed to washing lines. We did not install it ourselves, so you may need to arrange people for that. However, its build is of very high quality and it offers a staggering amount of space for hanging. The collapse function saves a lot of space, but we find that it looks nicer to just leave it open - at least in summer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only for tall people I am 5'11" and have trouble putting things on the lines so only tall people should buy one unless you do as I have and cut 6" off the pole to make it useful for all at this home. Which will probably invalidate the guarantee. Fortunately I was able to take the first one back when I couldn't get it to open because of a bent arm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a relief I couldn't wait for my old drier (not a Brabantia) to give up - it looked shabby, was so low I constantly banged my head on the arms, and the wire all drooped. It was a real eyesore in the garden, stuck in a piece of old scaffolding pipe, where it wobbled around. Hanging out heavier items required complex mental maths to ensure it stayed upright. Eventually, thanks to a very heavy bed cover it finally keeled over and I was able to get the brand I had originally wanted. The only drawback (from DH's viewpoint) was that the central pole was a couple of mms too narrow to go over that scaffolding pipe. So he had to dig out the pipe, put in the proper holder and re-lay the paving flags (which were a bit wonky anyway) Now I have a drier that's high enough so that towels and sheets hang down properly but I can still reach the wires, it takes plenty of loads of washing - for when student daughter finally gets round to sorting out her room - and it looks smart in the garden. Just need plenty of drying days now.....
