Brabantia, known as Van Elderen & Co at the time, started producing milk churns, jugs, sieves and funnels in Aalst in 1919. Over the years, Brabantia has grown into a global interior design brand that is known for its smart and stylish household products. The first pedal bins were made in 1952. The introduction of the iconic Patrice print in 1969 was a further highlight, followed by the famous corkscrew in 1985.
