Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic device ! I have just purchased this item. I chose it to avoid seeing a washing line across the garden. Found a sunny windy spot out of vision and out of the way. It's a spot in an area of the garden which is never used. See photo's attached. It arrived in a time slot indicated. Instructions and template were spot on. Took about 10 minutes to install. Packs away tidy and protected from all weather when not in use. Very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from sub standard I've had a lot of problems with this product. The first one had an issue where it would not lock into position. So I took it back to the shop. They tried as well and in the end they replaced it. The second one buckled at the arm which locks down. At first I thought it was my wife using too much force when locking into position but later found that my friend who has the same product had exactly the same problem. This product has a design flaw. I couldn't be bothered going back to the shop and getting a new one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not last long It was incredibly difficult to buy ours. This dryer is not for sale in Madeira, and we could only get in in the mainland portugal. After some search we were able to find a local store to sell us the dryer. We even ended up buying a second one for another home. It took a lot o ftime to get it fixed to the wall, the fixations were for another type of wall, but in the end we got it done. It almost works well, providing you dont close it very often. The box is hard to close some times. Then one day it appeared as the image shows. The main shaft was bent. Looks like the problem that another user has posted above. We cannot use it completely, and so i sent these pictures to the portuguese distributor, that promply replied that the famous 5 year Brabantia warranty only applies to shipping defects. Well it does not take 5 year to ship. Standard mandatory warranty in Portugal is 2 years. This is clearly the same problem as shown in other posts, so it is a factory defect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brilliant when space is limited. Bought this last July, installed it in late August when builders left and was so thrilled with it-was like a child with a new toy! Recommended it to one and all....five friends immediately went out and bought the product themselves! All was well until this week-suddenly my brilliant brabantia refused to fold..... Couldn't believe it. My husband tried folding it but when he used pressure the main support arm started buckling. Am devastated- okay there is a 5yr guarantee but stupidly I didn't keep the receipt........Moral of the story is No matter what confidence you have in the make KEEP THE RECEIPT!...............would still recommend the clothesline!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from would not go back to traditional type i bought this the begining of the summer and it is fantastic, i can get 3 loads of washing on it and nothing drags on the wall as i thought it might, having a small garden did not want a traditional type as it would dominate the space, and after comments about how good it looks from the neighbours, have noticed that their rotarys are disapearing and being replaced with wall mounted, says it all really

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Points: Easy to pull out, great as a space saving appliance and looks good on the wall even without the cover. I bought this for my elderly mum and wouldn't hesitate in buying one for myself. My husband was very impressed and said it was a great piece of engineering. Would definintely recommend this product. Bad Points: Have to be slightly careful closing the appliance, if you put too much force behind it you fly forward. However, this might be due to being new and will settle down once used a few tines, certainly wouldn't class it as a bad point though. Also, again not a bad point, but took a bit of working out to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect solution I bought this because we didn't want to walk all the way up to our lawn to hang the washing. It opens and closes very easily and the included cover looks good. The mounting template is comprised of the packaging which I didn't find out until I'd installed it. There is plenty of capacity and will hang a full load from our 5Kg washing machine. The fixings supplied are good quality. My only criticism is that the lines are quite close together and so there isn't as much airflow as other washing lines, but with a breeze this won't be a problem. Very pleased with this, it must be the best looking washing line on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and ample capacity I bought this item as we had just had our small garden renovated and I didn't want a washing line up at any time. I was in two minds because of the cost, it is expensive for sure. You do get what you pay for. Very sturdy, attractive and well designed piece of equipment. I have an 8kg washing machine ( 2 small children, 2 adult household)and I can hang everything out I wash at one time. The only down side is that even though you can hang up your sheets it can be a little awkward to peg them on. Very happy to have bought this. It also comes with a very neat cover for when you clip it back into the wall - brilliant!
