Well engineered and thought out quality product.
We live in quite an exposed hilltop village which gets hit by the westerly winds to which we are exposed. Previous cheaper products have bent, buckled and broken. This product is strong, self tensioning lightweight but easy to manoeuvre with well thought out extras like hanging hooks for both storage and clothes hangers. I bought this after my Brabantia bin got damaged after 7 years and the way I was treated by Brabantia customer service was world class. I now look for the brand whenever I need a product within their range. Buying quality costs less in the long run, fact!

Over-rated.
Have just bought this and would say that it seems to be quite well designed. However, my overall opinion is that it is very over-rated - it's way too expensive and the ground spike takes a lot of force to get it into the ground. I had to use a sledge hammer and believe me, it took a lot of bashing to get it level with the ground. The peg bag is somewhat basic and isn't very convenient to use because you have to unclip it and re-clip it on each time you turn the drier. The cover is a bit short - it only just covers the arms a washing line. All in all, if this item cost half of what it does it would be a reasonable purchase.

Excellent product
We bought this to replace a cheaper and les sturdy airer that had rusted badly. This is a much better option. It has been manufactured to a high quality and the workings are smooth and efficient. I've followed the instructions and built a concrete base in which it now resides. Be sure to order the correct spear depending on where you intend to position the airer. The website is very good at explaining what you need. We also purchased a cover which is well worth the extra money as it is easy to use and of a similar high quality to the airer.

Excellent spacing between lines
I’m really pleased with the rotary top spinner. It took me a while to get the spike into the ground between hammering and using a spirit level. Bit of a shame there was not a little bubble spirit level like in my old ground spike, but it is perfectly straight now and feels really solid. Unfolding is a bit stiff, but once it’s out, there is solid hanging space. The lines are nicely spaced, so no need to skip over lines to create more air flow. Even the innermost lines are wide enough to hang items from, and not just socks. For the space it takes up it really maximises the amount of laundry one can hang. I can easily fit two to three loads of washing, including sheets. Very pleased with it!

Bad design, dont bother
I purchased this because of the brand, and have now returned it for a full refund.
The build quality is excellent, but the depth of the pole when placed in the ground spike is a joke.
Like other reviews, the washing line pole wobbles when placed in the ground spike and only has a depth of about 6 inch.
Whoever thought this was a good idea clearly has no garden to need a rotary washing line.
The pole needs to go to the bottom of the gound spike for stability, not half way.
