Our washing lines are perfect for drying clothes indoors and outdoors, without the need for a clothes horse or the loss of any precious space in the garden. No storage space is necessary for these discrete lines, though they still offer a maximum of 22 metres of hanging space, and we’ve even provided you with indoor and outdoor options.

Benefits of a retractable washing line
If you have limited space or want to avoid the permanence of setting up a normal clothes line, why not opt for a retractable washing line? The pull-out mechanism of our retractable lines means that no storage space is necessary, unlike with a clunky clothes horse; and, when they’re not in use, you’ll barely know they’re there. Stretch the line across a space of no more than 4.4 metres, and hang out the equivalent of 2 loads of laundry on 22 metres of line. Anti-blocking systems keep the line taut, so cuffs and trouser legs won’t drag on the floor, and the smooth pull-out system makes set up and tidying up a breeze. We offer plenty of accessories for your washing line, too, which work together like a well-oiled machine to make laundry day run smoothly.
Choosing an indoor or outdoor clothesline
While our retractable washing lines are designed to be used inside, we also offer a clothes line set for outdoor use. What makes this line so well-suited to outdoor use is its UV- and weather-resistant materials, which keep it in tip-top condition for the entirety of its lifespan. Like the retractable line, it won’t sag, it’s easy to use and set-up, and is appropriate for a range of different space restrictions; in this case, patios, balconies, and gardens, as well as bathrooms. With all of our lines, you can be sure to avoid the fiddly bits of setting up a washing line: there are never any knots required, they come with simple fitting instructions, and the non-slip line keeps your garments in place, even if it gets a bit windy.
