Flex Guide - Dark Grey is rated out of 5 by 6.Rated 5 out of 5 by cannylad from Long Awaited Facility My ironing board is very old - the flex guide ditto -held on by spring clip . The new attachment which remains on the board is stronger, more flexible and easier to use. An excellent product, well made and delivered promptly tooDate published: 2015-06-25Rated 2 out of 5 by grandma A from Not impressed I bought a new brabantia ironing board and could not get my old flex holder to fit the new board , so ordered this one. It was easy to attach to the board but the flex on my iron was too thick to slot into the holder and the guide itself is so high I had to move furniture out of the way for the flex to reach the plug. In the end I bought a longer flex for my iron - cost nearly another £7.00 - and even though it is thinner than the original it still does not slot cleanly into the flex holder. Also, because you have to take the flex out of the holder to store the ironing board away it is fiddly to find the correct length every time and I fear that over time, having to take the flex in and out will cause the flex to become threadbare and need replacing. If I can find an alternative I will not hesitate to buy one.Date published: 2017-06-01Rated 2 out of 5 by CS13 from Does not hold the Cord I bought this to hold the Cord of my Steam Generator Iron but it does not hold the cord for more than a few minutes as the clip is not wide enough to hold the cord properly even though the picture on the advert shows the same type of Iron I haveDate published: 2016-11-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Granny78 from Great reach range and easy to fold away. I can't imagine why anybody who has ironingmto do wouldn't want this product. In my opinion there's nothing worse than having the flex trailing over the surface of the article on the board.Date published: 2016-08-05Rated 4 out of 5 by Alan holt from replacement for old brabrantia flex guide I replaced my flex guide after after being very happy with it for about four years but was disappointed when the thread seized taking it off to transfer onto new board. suspect dodgy threadDate published: 2015-12-17Rated 5 out of 5 by Florie from Brilliant gadget Dont know why i never bought one of these gadgets before!
